Chapter 204 The Unsung Hero Who Saved the World
Chapter 204 The Unsung Hero Who Saved the World
To the outside world, the occasional dispatch of a representative by the Sun Dynasty merely serves to demonstrate the presence of the Quel'Serrar Elven Empire.
Most of the high elves are hiding in Silvermoon City, enjoying their wonderful lives and incidentally bullying the Zul'Aman trolls...
Of course, the Alliance at the time tried its best to gain the help and support of the elves. There was also a Farwalker organization within the Silvermoon City Council, willing to send highly skilled elven rangers to fight alongside the humans against the orcs...
Two of the Windrunner sisters are representative of this group, such as the eldest sister Olivia & Windrunner, who is currently married to the paladin Marshal Turalyon.
The third sister, Vereesa & Windrunner, married Archmage Rhonin... and Dalaran has always stood by the Alliance. The Silver Covenant's heroic home was originally inhabited by that young couple... yet the inn in the Sunreaver's Sanctuary was called the Filthy Beast...
It's even worse than the Cursed Raven Inn... it's actually home to quite a few orcs and trolls...
Sylvanas, the second sister, also had a human ranger apprentice, who later became the Wither... In order to resurrect Nathanos and the Wither, Sylvanas did not hesitate to sacrifice a precious Val'kyr!
When the Dark Portal was first opened, the High Elves contributed significantly to the Orcish Wars.
Humanity's magical forces and air support almost entirely came from high elves...
The reputation of the Spellbreakers, the wizarding armies and priestly ranks, and the support of Silvermoon City behind the Alliance...
The distribution of post-war spoils became a problem...
Some of the high elves considered humans a shameless race, having taught them so much, yet they acted like they owned the place and showed no gratitude. The human lords of Lordaeron, in turn, felt the high elves looked down on them, cut off their livelihood by refusing business, and were arrogant and rude despite being neighbors...
In truth, these exiled elves and the incompetent human nobles of Lordaeron share the same stench, they just can't see eye to eye...
This is why both continents suffered during the Third Total War.
Especially when the calamity struck the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms... the two great nations could have helped each other... but the High Elves, relying on their protective barrier, ignored the plague engulfing the north... and ultimately reaped the consequences...
When Silvermoon City fell and Kael'thas rushed back from Dalaran, the High Elf Sun King had already fallen in battle... and the Sunwell had been corrupted...
Ranger-General Sylvanas and countless citizens of Silvermoon City perished in battle, betrayed by a traitor.
These warriors were resurrected by Arthas and turned into puppets... to continue slaughtering their loved ones...
The North became a land of the dead.
Lordaeron, the most powerful of the two kingdoms, was completely annihilated, with less than one-tenth remaining...
Another Quel'Thalas was torn apart by the Plague Scar, Silvermoon City was half destroyed, and the Sunwell was directly corrupted...
The high elves suffered heavy casualties...
The name Blood Elf came into being from that time...
Jaina finds it difficult to comment on the Blood Elves joining the Horde. Was it because the High Elves were ostracized by the Alliance? The Blood Elf Prince Kael'thas was once imprisoned by the Alliance commander-in-chief, General Garithos, and almost died in the ruins of Dalaran.
Kael'thas believed the Alliance had abandoned the Blood Elves...
Humans indeed don't trust blood elves much, and the blood elves themselves weren't a unified force to begin with... After the death of the Sun King, Kael'thas's efforts failed to satisfy the people of Silvermoon City; their mana addiction grew stronger, simply because they had lost the nourishment of the Sunwell...
The prince must find the source of power to restore his authority, save his people, and become king once more...
Therefore, Kael'thas not only abandoned the remnants of Silvermoon City, but he also gave up his seat as Speaker of Dalaran... completely disregarding everything, he followed the notorious traitor Illidan to Outland in search of power!
In Jaina's memory, Kael'thas was a truly arrogant and haughty man...
The alliance between Blood Elves and Undercity was both a coincidence and a matter of fate; they have a deep-rooted history, and Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas are inherently kingdoms locked in a love-hate relationship... The entanglements between elves and humans could fill several books...
This is just the story of the high elves exiled to the Eastern Kingdoms and the descendants of the humans of Arathor in the north...
According to Professor Rowling's analysis, before the Third Scourge descended, everything began in Northrend, the North Pole... Mysterious objects descended upon Ulduar, Frostmourne appeared, the Lich King was born, and the Frozen Throne emerged!
Kel'Thuzad, acting on the Lich King's orders, spread a plague...
Before the plague spread, the war between humans and orcs was still ongoing sporadically... the fighting never stopped.
The First War inflicted heavy losses on the human kingdom of Stormwind. Medivh, now the Blood Raven Prophet, foresaw the future and warned the rulers of various kingdoms that winter was coming, including King Tyrese of Lordaeron...
His opinions were disregarded; the only ones who followed the guidance of the prophet Medivh were Thrall and Jaina, as well as the Night Elf Archdruid Malfurion & Stormrage and his wife Tyrande...
Thrall grew up after the Second War, escaped slavery, and founded the new Horde.
He led his people across the ocean on the advice of the Blood Raven Prophet Medivh. On the way, they encountered the Beastmaster Rexxar, who saved the tragic Darkspear troll race. They arrived in Kalimdor, established Orgrimmar, allied with the Tauren, and pioneered a new home for the orcs in the Barrens, thus establishing the new Horde.
New tribes began to take shape before natural disasters or during the spread of plagues.
During the establishment of the new Horde, the Warsong Clan, responsible for logging, clashed with the Night Elves in Ashenvale. In the ensuing battle, the Warsong Clan's chieftain, Grom Hellscream, killed Cenarius, the demigod and guardian of the forest!
Orcs and night elves became mortal enemies from that moment on...
The battle rages on in Warsong Gulch...
Meanwhile, in the Eastern Kingdoms, Jaina had received a warning from the Bloodraven Prophet long ago, but she was skeptical.
After the plague broke out, she and Prince Arthas found Kel'Thuzad, who had spread the plague, and killed him, but they could not stop the tragedy from spreading.
Arthas carried out a massive purge of Stratholme, the most populous northern city in Lordaeron, and she and Uther left Arthas...only to turn around and take their people far away...
The prince, abandoned by all, descended into madness and despair, gradually lured into corruption by the Dreadlord, until he went to the North Pole to track down the Dreadlord... picked up Frostmourne... and became a Death Knight!
Arthas sank deeper into darkness, eventually turning around to kill his father, destroy his kingdom, and annihilate Lordaeron... He led an army of the dead into Silvermoon City, resurrecting Kel'Thuzad as a lich. Then he stormed Dalaran, seizing the Book of Medivh to summon Archimonde the Defiler, the demon lord of the Burning Legion!
Archimonde turned and destroyed Dalaran, heading straight for the World Tree, the lifeblood of the elves, across the sea...
This triggered the Third Total War, leaving scorched earth in its wake... Under Medivh's guidance, the various races of Azeroth united and successfully halted the Burning Legion's largest invasion at Mount Hyjal...
This was also the closest Azeroth ever came to destruction...
Thrall and Jaina, representing the Horde and Alliance respectively, joined forces with the Dwarven Mountain King, Tauren Chieftain Cairne Bloodhoof, Beastmaster Rexxar, Shadow Hunter Vol'jin, Night Elf Archdruid Malfurion, and Priestess Tyrande of the Moon to form a united army that relentlessly resisted the Burning Legion and its minions, the Scourge undead...
When Archimonde, driven by greed for the power of the World Tree, was killed by the World Tree unleashing the power of countless sprites...
The Lich King Ner'zhul's opportunity has arrived...
The spirits of the dead, victims of natural disasters, seize the opportunity to establish their own power!
Natural disasters are no longer the minions of evil, but they remain the enemy of all living beings...
How could Kil'jaeden, the third-in-command of the Burning Legion, tolerate his underling's defection? He threatened Illidan, the demon hunter wielding fel magic, but instead killed Ner'zhul...
Ner'zhul sensed everything and urgently summoned the Death Knight Arthas back to the Frozen Throne to protect him... The Death Knight, wielding Frostmourne, was destined to become a part of the Lich King.
Death Knight Arthas led his army north, crossed the sea to Northrend, defeated Illidan who intended to kill Ner'zhul, and gradually ascended the Frozen Throne... becoming one with the Lich King.
Northrend in the Arctic has become the stronghold of the Scourge, and the secrets of the Creator will be revealed...
Outland has been conquered by Illidan...
The devil never stops seeking revenge...
The gap left in the north allowed the Silver Dawn and humanity to launch a counterattack...
The Forgotten Ones rose up in response...
Jaina is a witness, a participant, and a hero of humanity... However, her standing in the Eastern Kingdoms still needs to be proven... The reputation of being a patricide doesn't sound good, and the seat of Speaker of Dalaran isn't easy to obtain...
The Sunreaver before her, a mere blood elf captain, dared to obstruct her actions...
