Chapter 107 Finally Back to Yu Ri Guan
Chapter 107 Finally Back to Yu Ri Guan
As the sun began to set, the post station came into view in the distance.
The distant city appears and disappears in the afterglow.
Mr. Liao then asked the Tibetan slaves if any of them knew how to call out "Lord" in the Da Hao language.
There were twenty or thirty people, all shouting in somewhat broken Mandarin.
Mr. Liao immediately distributed cornbread to those dozens of people.
Dozens of people immediately knelt down and kowtowed, calling him "Lord".
The post station looked close, but we didn't arrive until it was completely dark. The caravan stopped in the open space outside the post station.
Mr. Liao went in and asked for two rooms.
They ordered food for the next day from the post station, and the post station went to the city overnight to fetch the grain.
He instructed the post station to feed the horses with the best horse feed and ordered so much food that the post station waiter was all smiles.
Mr. Liao instructed the waiter to fill the water bag in the Tibetan slave's carriage with water and throw it back onto the carriage.
After finishing their meal at the inn, the group followed Mr. Liao out and gave each Tibetan slave a black steamed bun.
Tell them to finish the water in their water bags tonight.
Mr. Liao then asked sternly:
"Besides the one at noon, are there any others who can call out 'Lord'?"
Now, thirty or forty people could shout it out, and Mr. Liao gave each of them a black steamed bun.
Those people then kowtowed.
After a day, the other Tibetan slaves seemed to have understood something as well.
But I can't believe it, even those who can't shout started kowtowing.
Mr. Liao picked up the white steamed bun and the black steamed bun again and said:
"This is 'food.' Tomorrow morning, after the sun rises, the person who said 'food' will come to find me."
But they must also be able to say 'lord'.
Mr. Liao instructed Lan Yaoshen and Mu Huaisheng:
"Please, both of you, refrain from treating the remaining patients for now."
Neither of them asked why; they agreed without even thinking.
Mr. Liao was moved for a moment:
It feels so good to be trusted.
Five more blankets were given to the group in the carriage, and they went into the inn to rest.
The Tibetan slaves on the cart couldn't believe that their lord had given them blankets, even though they were barely clothed.
The next morning, the 'lords' came out and each of them was given a black steamed bun and a bag of water.
None of the Tibetan slaves escaped, because none of them wanted to.
I've never eaten so many steamed buns in a single day.
They were not beaten, not humiliated, and had no fear of having their hands or feet cut off.
Have each driver in the carriage gather up the blankets and put them on the carriage that has been brought out.
Half an hour after they set off, at sunrise, sixty or seventy people had all received the 'lord's' 'food'.
Mr. Liao gave them each a small piece of salted dried radish, which they broke open and shared with those around them.
Mr. Liao then said to them:
"Listen carefully, when the 'lords' have their lunch, they will say 'Thank you, lord, for the food,' then they will come to me!"
Around noon, twenty or thirty people all said this.
Mr. Liao then gave each of them a cornbread.
The Tibetan slaves knelt down and kowtowed repeatedly. Mr. Liao then ordered them to untie their bound feet as well.
Those who received cornbread broke it open and shared it with those around them.
Mr. Liao pointed them in a direction and told them to lead their horses forward next to the cart.
After the group ate their dry rations, they caught up with the others on horseback. The riders then told them not to tie them up anymore and to get on the cart and continue their journey.
They were then taught to say, 'I am the lord’s slave,' and to go to him at sunset as before.
As the sun sets, the remaining ninety or so people will all say something.
The newly added sentence is still only said by twenty or thirty people.
Mr. Liao then distributed salted dried radish to those thirty or so people.
They gave each of the ninety or so people half a black steamed bun.
Everyone kowtowed on the cart.
The carriage didn't arrive at the post station until late at night again, and they bought supplies as before.
They also learned the phrase, "My life belongs to the lord."
The next day, we set off early in the morning again, so that we could reach Yu Ri Guan by nightfall.
When the sun rises, you'll be able to say the previous sentence.
The latest sentence is already known to thirty or forty people.
Mr. Liao gave yellow steamed buns to those who learned the latest sentence, and black steamed buns to those who learned it before.
From that day on, no more post stations stopped at the post station.
Mr. Liao then instructed them to say these few words when the 'lords' ate lunch at noon.
Around noon, sure enough, everyone said the same thing.
Mr. Liao then said to them:
"The two new lords are the reincarnations of the compassionate Buddha and Bodhisattvas."
They were the ones your former lords used gold and jewels to ask to save their young master!
The two Bodhisattvas did not ask for gold or silver jewelry.
They exchanged their good deeds for your lives.
The two lords will heal your illnesses, clothe you, and feed you!
The two lords have been reincarnated in the Great Hao Kingdom. Tonight, the lords will take you back to the Great Hao Kingdom.
Therefore, you must learn to say, 'From this day forward, I am a subject of the Great Hao.'
"Thank you, lord, for the food. I am your slave, and my life belongs to you."
From this day forward, I am a subject of the Great Hao!
As soon as Mr. Liao finished explaining and taught it a few times, a younger woman immediately said it.
Mu Huaisheng secretly admired him:
Girls definitely have an advantage when it comes to language skills!
Mr. Liao immediately gave the young woman a steamed bun and said:
"If anyone is unable to speak before entering Dahao at nightfall, it means they are not sincerely following the new lord."
Then we'll leave him in Tibet to continue suffering!
The Tibetan slaves kept reciting those few lines throughout the journey.
The sun hadn't even set yet, and they had already memorized it all.
Their faces, which had been numb like livestock just a few days ago, were now filled with hope.
When the group arrived at the city gate, the guards were startled. If they hadn't recognized Mr. Liao, they wouldn't have been allowed to enter.
A large group of people went in.
When they arrived at the military camp, they were given two air force tents and made to squeeze in with their occupants.
The Tibetan slaves felt they had chosen the right bodhisattva lord to follow him, as it was the first time a lord had arranged accommodation for them.
Everyone was exhausted, so they went to rest on their own.
The next morning, Mu Huaisheng asked Zhenniang and Danggui to watch over the two tents.
Then, he took Blue Medicine God to buy black steamed buns and pickled vegetables.
I also bought steamed buns for Zhenniang and Danggui, and asked the shopkeeper to deliver them directly to the camp. They just need to find Zhenniang.
They bought four more steamed buns, which the two of them ate while holding them in their hands, and then dragged Blue Medicine God to find the Marshal.
Explaining while eating and walking:
"We brought about a hundred men into the city all at once, and the marshal and the others must already know about it."
However, we need to proactively explain the cause and effect to the marshal. Don't ask why, just do as I say.
"I understand~"
Mu Huaisheng was still a little unaccustomed to this. What's wrong with this guy?
Then Blue Medicine God continued:
"In the past, I encountered too few things and thought too little."
Now, I understand many things that I didn't understand before...
Upon hearing this, Mu Huaisheng said:
"Oh~ Our Blue Medicine God is starting to reflect on himself?"
It's good that you're still young.
In the future, when you encounter problems, don't act impulsively; just think it over carefully.
"Go! Go! Go!
You little brat, you're so annoying!
Mu Huaisheng: Okay~
It's nothing serious, just a couple of sentences.
My sarcastic old friend is back.
