Chapter 361: Fragments of Fate, Return of Chaos

Chapter 361: Fragments of Fate, Return of Chaos

Fragments of fate, chaos returns to zero

Feng Jing's body was no longer bound by any material constraints. He seemed to have become the convergence of countless intersections of time and space, floating in this endless void. His consciousness seemed to absorb the energy of all dimensions, and countless shattered fragments flashed through his mind. Each of the Feng Jings of the past wandered in the mists of history, trying to find a way out of countless reincarnations.

Yet, Feng Jing didn't stop. His body gradually dissipated, as if, at that moment, it had completely dissolved into the boundless void. He was no longer a being, at least no longer a single individual, but a state that transcended everything. He was no longer "Feng Jing," no longer "him," and no longer a being that any human could understand.

"You will never be able to surpass me," that familiar voice rang out again, as if coming from the abyss of countless dimensions. "You thought you had surpassed everything, but you were wrong. Your existence is still controlled by the cycle of fate."

Feng Jing didn't respond. The image in the mirror had completely collapsed, but the voice still echoed in his mind. Feng Jing's heart was no longer moved. He felt himself in an unprecedented state of emptiness, like a lonely star floating in the universe. All space and time became blurred in his eyes.

In this chaos, Feng Jing suddenly realized one thing - he was no longer a being in any dimension, he had transcended the constraints of time and space, and all physical laws. His current state could not be described by conventional language or logic.

"If I'm not me, then who am I?" Feng Jing asked himself. He was no longer a simple individual. His existence was like a restless force, existing between all possibilities and impossibilities, always in a state of uncertainty.

"You are nothing but a dream of fate." The voice grew deeper. "The destination you cannot escape is always your own nothingness."

"Nothingness?" Feng Jing's lips curled with disdain. "The 'nothingness' you spoke of was merely a trap you set. The 'fate' you defined was merely a dream you had for me. Now, I am no longer the 'Feng Jing' you imagined me to be. I will show you true transcendence."

Feng Jing extended his hand, and the void suddenly split open, emanating from the cracks a dazzling array of light. This light didn't originate from any celestial body or material object, but rather emerged from the depths of Feng Jing's heart. His body gradually vanished, transforming completely into a beam of light that pierced through all barriers of time and space, beginning to destroy the web of fate he had once thought inescapable.

However, this wasn't the end. Feng Jing realized that he didn't exist alone in a single dimension of time and space. All he had done was break free from that cage and enter another, larger one. Every breakthrough he made formed a new cage; every rebirth was just another form of bondage.

Suddenly, Feng Jing's consciousness was violently pulled away by a force, and he appeared in an unfamiliar place again. This time, he wasn't standing in the void, but in an endless black abyss. There was no light around him, only bottomless darkness, like discarded fragments of fate, scattered in the endless nothingness.

"Where is this place?" Feng Jing asked himself in a low voice. He tried to sense his surroundings, but he could not touch anything. It was as if all existence had been completely wiped out, and only darkness enveloped everything.

"Do you finally understand?" The voice rang out again, this time not from the outside world but from the deepest part of Feng Jing's heart. It carried with it a heart-pounding sense of oppression. "You thought you could escape the web of fate I set, but now you see the true truth. Everything you've experienced is but the cycle of fate. Your awakening, your transcendence, your rebirth—all of it is part of the script I designed."

Feng Jing's eyes flashed with a deep light, and a strange smile appeared at the corner of his mouth: "The cycle of fate? So what? I will destroy this cycle, destroy your so-called 'script', and make everything collapse from the root."

As soon as he finished speaking, Feng Jing's figure disappeared into the darkness, as if merging into the endless abyss. However, an even more powerful force followed, instantly enveloping him. The darkness began to devour everything, and Feng Jing's body was bound by an irresistible force. The space around him shrank rapidly, as if swallowing everything he had.

But Feng Jing wasn't afraid. Instead, he sneered, "Master of fate, what you control is only a part of me. I'm not a linear being. Every time I appear, it's a rebellion against fate. I've surpassed everything you have."

Before he finished speaking, Feng Jing's figure erupted with dazzling light once again. His power converged into a beam of light, piercing the surrounding darkness and rushing towards the powerful force. The entire dark world began to collapse before him, time and space began to distort, and all rules and order collapsed in that instant.

"You're wrong!" The voice roared almost madly, "You can't break me. I am the master of my destiny!"

Yet, Feng Jing remained unmoved. Like a meteor, he pierced all barriers of time and space, breaking free from all constraints of fate and entering an even more absurd dimension. There, time ceased to exist, space ceased to be regular, and all boundaries vanished. Feng Jing became the center of countless intersections of time and space, transcending all existence and concepts.

Fate finally collapsed.
