Chapter 232: I Don’t Want Anything
Chapter 232: I Don’t Want Anything
Zhou Yuwen was utterly exhausted from the previous day and had fallen asleep without realizing it. However, holding Qu Jing in his arms, he couldn’t help but notice her excellent figure—not just her physique, but how obedient she was. No matter how Zhou Yuwen shifted her, Qu Jing remained perfectly still, never resisting or complaining.
Holding a beauty like Qu Jing in his arms, Zhou Yuwen had a strange dream. At first, he dreamed of feeding a kitten.
The dream began with Zhou Yuwen wrapping a treat around his finger and feeding it to a tiny kitten. The kitten’s tongue was soft and warm as it gently licked at the treat.
Oddly, even though it was a dream, the sensations felt vividly real. The soft and warm feeling of the kitten’s tongue licking his fingers sent tingling sensations up his arm.
But as he began to stir in his sleep, the weight of Qu Jing’s long legs pressing against him made him slightly uncomfortable. Zhou Yuwen opened his eyes and saw Qu Jing sleeping peacefully in his arms. He was momentarily stunned before recalling the events of the previous night.
Oh, right, he had insisted on holding her while they slept.
He had told her not to move and to grab hold of something to help her fall asleep. To his surprise, she had obeyed without a hint of resistance.
Her docile nature amused Zhou Yuwen. He found her similar to Lu Lin in terms of obedience, but with one key difference: while Lu Lin was cold and distant, Qu Jing was warm and affectionate.
She reminded Zhou Yuwen of a little stray kitten—wild yet unformed, grateful for being taken in, and always eager to stay close to her owner out of fear of being abandoned.
Zhou Yuwen appreciated this feeling.
Qu Jing smelled fragrant as she snuggled tightly against him, her small hand gripping his shirt as she slept. Morning sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a soft glow on half of her delicate face. She looked particularly enticing in that moment.
Not wanting to disturb her, Zhou Yuwen attempted to shift slightly and let go of her. However, at his slightest movement, Qu Jing’s eyelashes fluttered, and her sleepy eyes opened.
Realizing she was in Zhou Yuwen’s arms, Qu Jing immediately panicked, as though she had done something wrong. She quickly tried to sit up.
“Don’t move,” Zhou Yuwen said sternly, confused by her reaction. “You’ve already been in my arms all night. Why are you acting so shocked now?”
Qu Jing froze at his commanding tone and lowered her head obediently, shrinking back into his arms.
Zhou Yuwen asked, “What are you so afraid of?”
“I... I wanted to wake up earlier than you to make breakfast, but... but your arms were too comfortable, and I ended up oversleeping,” Qu Jing replied meekly.
Zhou Yuwen snorted. “You can cook?”
Embarrassed, Qu Jing tried to sit up again, but Zhou Yuwen held her down.
“I said don’t move. Why can’t you just listen?” Zhou Yuwen said, dissatisfied with her behavior.
Qu Jing lowered her head further, too nervous to respond.
Her timid demeanor, coupled with her earlier obedience, stirred a mischievous streak in Zhou Yuwen. His mood, still drowsy from sleep, turned playful.
“Stay still,” he ordered. “Let me hold you for a bit longer.”
Qu Jing’s body trembled slightly. “You... you really want to hold me?”
“Of course,” Zhou Yuwen said with a smirk.
“You smell so good,” he added, leaning down to take in the scent at the base of her neck.
Qu Jing shivered as his breath brushed against her skin. “It’s... it’s the body wash I used last night. It’s... Yanyan’s...”
“Yanyan?” Zhou Yuwen chuckled. “She’s my girlfriend, but you’re older than her. Why do you call her ‘Sister Yanyan’?”
Qu Jing blushed deeply. “Because... she’s your girlfriend, and I’m... I’m just your...”
“My little kitten?” Zhou Yuwen teased, his tone growing more playful.
Qu Jing nodded timidly, her legs tightening slightly. “Yes... your little kitten...”
“And what does that have to do with her?” Zhou Yuwen asked, lifting her chin with his fingers. “Are you going to fight her because of me?”
“No!” Qu Jing shook her head frantically. “I would never. I’m just your kitten, and I would never bite you!”
“Good girl,” Zhou Yuwen said with satisfaction, letting his thumb graze her soft lips.
Her obedience and flushed cheeks reminded Zhou Yuwen of his earlier dream, sparking a sudden impulse.
“Open your mouth,” he commanded.
Qu Jing obeyed instantly, parting her lips.
“Lick,” Zhou Yuwen said.
Without hesitation, Qu Jing extended her small tongue, licking his finger softly. The sight of her delicate tongue wrapping around his finger under the morning sunlight was almost too much for Zhou Yuwen.
Unable to hold back, he cupped her chin and kissed her passionately.
Qu Jing gasped in surprise but quickly melted into his kiss, as though receiving the greatest reward of her life. She closed her eyes and let herself be completely consumed by the moment.
After a long kiss, Zhou Yuwen finally pulled back, slightly breathless. “You’re such a clingy little kitten.”
“Meow~” Qu Jing responded playfully, her eyes curving into crescent moons as she smiled happily.
Zhou Yuwen chuckled, pulling her closer. “Yesterday must’ve been tough for you. Thank you.” Nᴇw novel chapters are publɪshed on novel※fire.net
“It wasn’t tough at all,” Qu Jing replied, nestling against him. She rubbed her cheek against his affectionately, unwilling to let go.
Zhou Yuwen, however, remained cautious. Remembering the chaos with Tao Tian, he decided to address the situation directly.
“Qu Jing, I don’t know why you’re so drawn to me, but if your goal was to make me like you, congratulations—you’ve succeeded,” he said sincerely.
Qu Jing froze, her eyes wide with surprise. “Really?”
“Yes,” Zhou Yuwen admitted. “You’re like a stray kitten that suddenly appeared in my life, constantly trying to win my affection. I don’t know if it’s genuine or an act, but your helplessness does move me.”
“It’s not an act...” Qu Jing’s voice quivered with emotion.
“I’m not saying it is,” Zhou Yuwen replied, holding her gaze. “But I need you to understand—I already have a girlfriend, and I don’t plan on breaking up with her.”
Qu Jing’s expression faltered briefly before she smiled weakly. “I never wanted to be your girlfriend.”
“Then what do you want?”
“I just want to stay by your side as your pet,” Qu Jing whispered. “I don’t need anything else.”
Zhou Yuwen was momentarily speechless. “Qu Jing, you...”
“I mean it. I don’t care what you do to me—I’ll be fine with it,” Qu Jing said earnestly. “You can treat me however you like. I just want to stay with you.”
“This... doesn’t seem right,” Zhou Yuwen muttered, unsure of how to respond.
“It’s fine, Zhou Yuwen,” Qu Jing said softly, her eyes brimming with sincerity.
“Hmm?” Zhou Yuwen looked at her, still trying to process her words.
